News You Can Use - 11/15/24

There will be No Bible Study Wednesday, November 20th.

GPS Bible Study will meet Thursday, November 21st at 10:00 a.m at the Ministry Building.

Save the Date: Tuesday, November 19, 2024 will be our Annual Night of Thanks!

There will be GPS and Choir Rehearsal Thursday, November 21st.

The Outreach Ministry is planning to begin the 2024 clothing drive.  Please bring Men’s, Women’s and Children’s new or slightly used clothing. Please bring the items directly to the Ministry Building.  The dates and times are Monday and Thursday from 10:00a.m.- 2:30p.m. and on Sundays.

The Outreach Ministry and Student Ministry will travel to Burnet, TX on December 6th to visit the Main Street Bethlehem exhibit.  The van will depart the church at 5:00pm, the event begins at 6:00pm. The students need to arrive at the church no later than 4:30pm if they want to ride the van. There will be a signup sheet in the fellowship area on Sunday for those who want to attend.  If you are driving your personal vehicle, please signup so that we have an accurate headcount.

All announcements must be submitted to the Administrative Office via email at admin@onewaybaptistchurch.com by Noon on Wednesday.

***A time of prayer and fasting***

For the many families and friends on our Sick and Shut-in list;  This announcement is an all-out request to Pray and Fast for the entire body of Christ.

Prayer List also includes:

1. Our first responder’s, doctor’s, nurse’s firefighters and all those who are on the front line in this fight.
2. Pray for the entire State of Texas.
3. Pray for our country as a whole, the President of the United States and those who are sitting in seats of government and on committees that are making decisions for our country.
4. One Way Baptist Church, leaders of the church: Ministers, Deacons, Ministry Leaders and Membership.

Please be mindful to pick three days out of each week to focus on these issues that are laid out in this announcement.

Here are a few scriptures to focus on during this time of prayer and fasting:

1. Acts 13:2; 14:23

3. II Chronicles 20:1- 4
4. Ezra 8:21-23
5. Nehemiah 1:1-4
6. Esther 4:15-16
7. Matthew 4:1-4

Hour of Prayer:  Join us on Mondays in your private sanctuary at your home with your family as we come together in prayer. Praying for our Country, State, City and one another.
